Proper feeding and storage of your frozen mice or rats is crucial to the health of your reptile. Mice to Go recommends the following to ensure you get the best of from your frozen rodents.

Feeding Tips for Store

• It is best to wait a minimum of 3-5 days after delivery of reptiles to attempt to feed snakes in order to give them time to acclimate to their new environment.
  
• Reptiles received from Reptile Industries have already eaten multiple frozen, thawed rodents prior to shipping. Should you have any issues feeding, please refer to the resources made available by the Animal Health and Wellness Team or contact them directly.

Receiving & Storage

• Check product immediately upon receipt to ensure it has not thawed during shipping. If there are any issues noted, please contact Reptile Industries immediately.
  
• Check freezer regularly to be sure it is running correctly and the door is tightly sealed.
  
• Check product in freezer frequently to ensure stock has been rotated and product has not thawed due to problems with the freezer.
  
• Never refreeze frozen rodents once thawed.
  
• If stored correctly, frozen rodents have an infinite shelf life, but are best in quality if used within a year.
  
• Treat frozen rodent products as you would any other raw, frozen items.
